A delicious twist on the classic Christmas accompaniment.
60g light soft brown sugar
250g pack fresh cranberries
100ml sloe gin
4 juniper berries
- Put all the ingredients in a saucepan. Bring up to a simmer and cook for 5 mins as the cranberries burst
- Take off the heat when there is still a little liquid remaining in the pan. and leave to cool. Serve at room temperature
This can be chilled for up to four days or frozen for two months before use.
